Last Minute AirfareWe’re all busy. We’ve all got “things” that occupy our days and “other things” that take us into our nights. But nothing can be an excuse for neglect. That’s what it’s called when you make plans; set up an event; tell people to meet there, and then you; the orchestrator YOU don’t remember the most important component of this endeavor which is that you are there. Last minute airfare can be a nightmare, but there are things to save you and keep your busy life, on schedule.
When we’re talking last minute airfare, we’re hoping for cheap last minute airfare; no one wants to pay an arm and a leg for coach seats that feel less comfortable than the cargo bay.
So what do you do? Well that’s up for discussion. Arguably, the cheapest stuff can always be found online; but the online retailers have gotten fed up with such a small profit margin and 80% of the people still go to a person to get their stuff. So now the online site has upped the ante. That’s not to say that your travel agent’s got a better deal for you; but it’s something to consider.
How late is too late: This is one question to consider; when are you just out of luck? When has the ship left the port? When is your journey over due to no more resources? Well, as they say, it’s never too late. But if you realized you need tickets for a flight on Tuesday and its Monday, let’s just say you should get your act together.
There are websites all over the place for very-very last minute tickets; you’re just forced to pay an arm and a leg. But if you’re comfortable with that, then take your pick.
Be wary though, these online price hikers have robots set up to get the best deals on cheap tickets online and hold them ‘till the last possible minute and you may be left holding the bag.
So be persistent. Be aggressive. But even more importantly, be conscious that you need tickets! Get them on time, next time, and you’ll save time and money on your next trip.
