US AirlinesUS Airlines are quite numerous; I’d even say they’re as wide as the day is long. There are just so many different airlines based out of the US that it’s foolish to try and corral them into one short article. But there are some things that tie the airlines in the US and make them all representative of The Home of the Brave.US Airline travel is more popular than ever. With the exhausted baby boomer generation, ebbing away and their sons and daughters taking over the planet, we’re more focused on thinking Global now more than ever before. Major US airlines are responding by adding more flights to more places, domestic and abroad, and the demand is as high as ever. Some major US airline based in the USA are American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Airlines. Also posing a big presence in the states are airlines like TWA, Continental, and Pan Am. These are big airlines; trafficking a large number of travelers all around the globe. There are also air carriers in the US that run smaller routes, with smaller planes, who’ve sort of redefined the class system long a problem on airlines. With this one price policy, air carriers are able to offer great customer service and the same mediocre snacks to everyone. These air carriers often run regional routes or stick to their limited schedule to fill up planes and cut down on wasted routes. Some of these regional carriers include Northwest, Alaska Air, Aloha Air, and Comair, the Delta Connection. These smaller airlines may also run a solely domestic connection on their flights, not traveling out of the US. Another alternative is they may travel very sparsely out of the US to places like Puerto Rico, Canada, or nearby Mexico. These smaller jets probably shouldn’t be in the air for as long as a 747 anyway, as their fuel tanks are smaller. Even if their tanks were able to store the amount of fuel needed for a transatlantic flight, their smaller stature may not hold up as well in inclement weather. US Airlines are very responsible for uniting friends and family, making us all a little bit closer.
